This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use BadgeFlow Pro (the "App") in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

1. Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

Store Information: We collect your shop domain (.myshopify.com URL) and the email address associated with your Shopify account. We use this to authenticate your installation and communicate with you about your account or app updates.

Product Information: The App requires access to your product catalog, specifically Product IDs, pricing, inventory levels, and metafields. This data is strictly used to evaluate your custom rules and apply or remove storefront badges accordingly.

2. How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the information we collect from you and your store in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this information to:

• Authenticate your access to the App dashboard via Shopify App Bridge.
• Execute background automation rules based on your product pricing and inventory levels.
• Communicate with you regarding app support, technical issues, or critical updates.

3. Sharing Your Personal Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We may share your Personal Information only in the following limited circumstances:

• To comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
• With secure, trusted service providers (such as secure cloud hosting environments) strictly for the purpose of operating the App's infrastructure.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We comply fully with Shopify's mandatory data protection and GDPR webhooks:

Shop Redact / App Uninstalled: If you uninstall the App, we will receive a webhook from Shopify instructing us to delete your store's data. We will permanently delete your store information, automation rules, and active configurations from our database within 48 hours of receiving this request.

Customer Redact / Data Request: Because BadgeFlow Pro does not collect or store any customer data, any customer data deletion or access requests forwarded by Shopify will be acknowledged, though no action will be required on our end as no such data exists in our systems.

5. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
